Produced in 1939. Dovetail bead front and adjustable sporting rear sights, with standard markings on the barrel. Takedown receiver, with a Lyman 422 Expert long tube scope mounted in an adjustable Lyman base, secured to the left side. Smooth pistol grip stock, with metal forearm tip, large loading port, and smooth metal buttplate with magazine access.

Condition: Excellent, with 95% of the original blue, showing wear on the muzzle and up the right side of the barrel, and a small amount of bright high edge wear and scattered light handling marks. Stock is very good, with light pressure dents and a small amount of varnish loss. Minor wear is visible on the scope tube, and the optics are clear. Mechanically excellent.
