Winchester Pre-64 model 70 super-grade in rare .35 Remington caliber, 24” round barrel, factory select checkered super-grade stock with quick detachable sling swivel, serial #221575. The rifle retains 85-95% originalfinish, just naturally toning and aging with sharp markings and crisp edges. The stock is also very good with some minor marks and scratches, normal carry and aging. The action is good, the bore is near excellent, thefloorplate and triggerguard show 75-85% finish, thinning at the edges with correct super-grade marking. Only a handful of model 70’s are known to exist in this caliber and this example was the premier piece in aCentral California model 70 collection of over 50-years in the making. Est: $5,000 - $10,000
