This fine rifle utilizes cut-checkered texture on the walnut fore-grip and pistol grip. The receiver is mounted with a Simmons Deerfield 3-9x32 scope. The rifle is marked in numerous places on the 22" blue'd barrel, reading; "Winchester Trade Mark - MADE in U.S.A.- Winchester Proof Steel - Winchester ® Model 70 Featherweight - 30-06 SPRG." on the left side of the barrel. The rifle includes the original hooded front sight, and adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight. Overall, the rifle shows very good mechanical condition, and good aesthetic condition.
