Manufactured between 1938 and 1941. Hooded ramp front sight with a filler block in the rear dovetail and there are two sets of drilled and tapped holes on the barrel with filler screws. The bolt is drilled and tapped for a bolt peep sight (not included) and there are three drilled and tapped holes on the left side of the receiver. Mounted on a smooth walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate.

Condition: Very fine as modified (drilled and tapped on left side of receiver and top of barrel), 90% original blue finish with high edge wear and scattered light scratches. The extractor pin is absent but extractor is included. The wood is fine with scattered minor handling marks and rear sling stud hole filled in. Mechanically fine.
