The Winchester model 62 and 62A was a rifle that many people grew up with, leading it to be a very popular rifle. Winchester Model 62 and later the 62A, can last a lifetime. They were the .22 galley gun used in carnival shooting galleries for years and were often fired hundreds of times a day, thousands of times a week, year after year.
