Fine. The barrel retains 70% thinning original blue finish showing some muzzle wear and several small minor scratches. The forend cap has a smooth mottled brownish gray patina and the takedown ring has been cleaned bright. The receiver retains 40% original blue finish with areas of smooth gray and brown patina. The wood is good with a 6 inch, old repaired crack on the upper left side of the forearm, a minor 3 1/2 inch crack on the right side, a small minor crack on the right side of the stock toe, and overall some scattered minor dents and scratches. The wrist area and underside, rear of the forearm, show moderate wear. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.
