Winchester Model 54 bolt action sporting rifle with stainless steel barrel remaining in very good plus to near fine original condition, serial number 10780. The barrel and action show most of their original finish with just some slight losses at the high point edges and muzzle and at least 95% to 98% of their original finish. A period Redfield sight has been added to the receiver and may have been factory installed. The rear sight is a folding two leaf type in the original barrel dove tail. The stock has been expertly refreshed and the work is almost undetectable. Deluxe detachable sling swivels of the period are retained. The trigger guard shows 95% to 98% original blue with scratches at the center. The original butt plate is retained. The bore is excellent and bright. The older brother of the model 70.
