Desirable magazine fed bolt action target rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle. Manufactured in New Haven, CT circa 1956. The model 52 is regarded by many as one of the finest small-caliber rifles ever built. This rifle features a blued finish, 28" tapered barrel, Redfield globe front sight, receiver mounted Redfield Olympic fully-adjustable aperture rear sight, installed scope blocks, serrated curved wide trigger with external adjustments, pivoting two-position safety on the right side of the receiver, polished bolt with turned-down handle, push button magazine release, factory 5 round magazine, Hunter brown leather sling, and smooth walnut pistol grip stock with inlaid accessory rail in the underside of the forend, knurled metal buttplate, and 13 5/16” LOP. Includes two spare factory magazines and some reprinted literature. Rifle retains approximately 95% of its original blued finish showing thinning on the bolt handle, some discoloration on the receiver, and a minute amount of scattered light surface on the battom metal. The action is smooth/crisp, the bore is excellent/bright, the markings are sharp, and the wood stock is near excellent with few blemishes.
Condition is NRA Good.
