Offered in this lot is a Winchester Model 37 single-shot shotgun, chambered in 12 gauge. The M37 was produced between 1936 through 1963. This example utilizes a 30" round barrel, blue'd finish, walnut stock and foregrip, a bead front sight, and a break-action. The shotgun is marked on the left half of the barrel "Made in U.S.A. Winchester Repeating Arms Co. – New Haven Conn. – Patent Pending - Model-37-STEELBILT - WINCHESTER TRADE MARK - CHOKE - 2 3/4 CHAM.". Overall, the shotgun shows very good aesthetical condition, and good mechanical condition. The blue finish shows good retention, and the walnut fixtures are beautiful, with only very minor handling marks. Mechanically, the action remains tight, the bore is very bright, and the extractor is strong. No Serial Number. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
