Winchester Model 21 Custom Pigeon Grade engraved ( 1 of 6 made) SxS shotgun, 20 gauge, 3” chamber, 28” ventilated rib barrels with top rib at breech marked “Custom Built By Winchester for Richard S. Mertz”, bluefinish, three game scene panels on receiver, deluxe checkered wood stocks, #32689, accompanied by a Browning luggage style carry case. This beautiful and highly desirable Model 21 is in overall fine condition showing the majority of its custom blue finish, minty bores, crisp actions, finely accomplished engraving, gold single trigger, 14-1/4” length of pull; fine deluxe wood stocks showing some slight freckling to thefinish on the left side of the butt stock; gold inlaid “Pigeon Grade” on the pistol grip cap, gold inlaid initials “RSM” on the trigger guard. The Browning case is overall very good and holds the Winchester nicely. Arare opportunity to own a very special Model 21. Est.: $6,000-$12,000.
