Winchester Model 21-20 Gauge Shotgun with Ejectors
Manufactured form 1931 to 1959, the Model 21 is considered to be Winchester's finest effort with regard to quality, reliability and strength. Despite being offered as a production gun, it was in fact a hand built, custom made shotgun. This example features duel bead sights on a solid matte rib. The barrels are chambered for 2 3/4 inch shells, chokes marked "WS-1" and "WS-2", with ejectors. The left barrel at the breech is marked "-WINCHESTER- / -TRADEMARK-" flanked by "MODEL 21" and "20 GAUGE 2 3/4". Matching serial number on barrels, forearm and frame. Single selective trigger, with tang safety. Mounted with a nicely figured checkered American walnut pistol grip stock and beavertail forearm with vented Pachmayr recoil pad. Length of pull is 12".

Excellent as customized. The barrels retains 95% original blue finish with minor forearm disassembly/assembly wear, some minor muzzle wear and some minor thinning. The frame retains 95% original blue finish with gray on the high edges, some minor thinning. The trigger guard retains 70% blue with the balance a smooth gray patina contained to the lower tang. Overall there are some minor scratches. The shortened wood is excellent with some minor dings and scratches. There are some mild nicks in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
