Winchester Model 1897 factory marked trap gun, 12 gauge, 30" barrel, with Damascus pattern on barrel, blued frame, deluxe checkered burl wood stock with black diamond inlays at wrist and factory engraved monogram on left showing "JB" intertwined, #141591. The barrel shows traces of original finish and most of the light pattern Damascus, the frame and magazine tube show 50-60% thinning and toning, original blue; the stocks havebeen lightly refinished, the butt stock measures 12" from the frame to the end of the wood and shows an extended pad and inlay of wood at bottom of stock. The stock measures 13-1/8" from the frame to the end of theadded butt pad, the bolt is engraved "trap gun" on right side by the factory; good action, bright bore and modified choke. An unusual special order '97 with factory letter confirming features. It also specifiesGerman silver, drop at heel 3", shipped July 3, 1901 to order 99848. Est.: $1,500-$3,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
