Condition: Very fine as partially refinished (wood). The rifle retains 95% of the original blue finish, some showing areas of smooth brown patina, bright gray along the high edges, a few minor scratches on the sides of the receiver and bright wear on the magazine and lever from cycling the action. Most of the fiery niter blue is visible on the extractor and most of the bright original case colors on the trigger plate. The wood is also very fine as revarnished with a thin line of rough texture on the upper left side edge of the forearm, some light pressure dents and attractive grain on the butt. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent.
