Excellent. The rifle retains 97% of the original blue finish, showing bright spots on the sides of the magazine and lever, the start of a gray patina, some light edge wear and handling marks overall. The hammer retains 95% original case colors. The wood is very fine with the recoil pad having hardened with age and is moderately crushed. There is a small semi deep scratch on the underside of the wrist, and overall there is some mild varnish loss, scratches and pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
