Winchester Model 1894 lever action special order rifle, .30-30 caliber, 26” half round/half octagon barrel, button magazine, checkered pistol grip stocks, rifle butt, factory letter state under remarks: “A new receiver sent out; receiver plated and engraved by customer; received in warehouse March 4, 1904; shipped March 4, 1904. On June 25th 1904, receiver returned and the factory made the following rifle: .30 caliber, 1/2 octagon barrel, plain trigger, half magazine, plain pistol gri checkered, butt plate and finger lever plated in factory; Lyman rear cup and combination front sight, shipped June 27, 1904”. The rifle retains approx. 90-95% original blue on barrel, just some slight beginning erosion and natural aging; the frame, buttplate, lever and forend cap show 95% soft original nickel finish; the stocks are very good plus to near fine with 90% original varnish and just a few minor bumps, bruises, and alight scratches; the hammer shows considerable case hardening, loading gate shows most of its original blue, the markings sharp, the action crisp, the interior near excellent. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
