Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle, .38-55 cal., 26” octagon barrel, plain trigger, blue finish, wood stocks, adjustable tang sight, standard rear sight, flip-up Beech combination type front sight, wood stocks, #47856 with factory letter confirming caliber, octagon barrel and plain trigger; also indicating received in warehouse on Oct. 20, 1898 and shipped from the warehouse on Oct. 27, 1898. This gun is in overall very good to fine condition showing the majorityof its original blue finish on the barrel and loading tube and considerable original finish on the receiver; the hammer and lever show original case color, the bore is very good +, the action and markings are crisp and the wood stocks arevery good with a couple minor old mars from storage and some oil staining at the butt plate.
