Winchester Model 1894 SRC, 30 W.C.F. cal., 20” barrel, blue finish, wood stock, #578533; possible factory presentation plaque inset into the left side of the butt stock “Presented to Omer Gravelle by CrookstonLodge No. 342 B.P.O.E.”. This gun is in overall very good to fine condition showing approx. 90% original blue on the barrel assembly, slight thinning at the edges, beginning light pin prick pitting anderosion; frame has drifted to grey with some darkening, erosion and light to moderate pitting; stocks are of select quality and show a nice burlwood grain with some dings, mars, scratches, etc., but generally goodoverall and of higher quality than normally found; rifle is mounted with a three-leaf rear sight in the rear factory dovetail; action is good, bore is very good. Should be factory lettered as the stock and plaque mayhave been special ordered; formerly in the famous Glenn Hockett collection. Est.: $1,500-$3,000.
