The rifle features a 20" octagonal barrel, walnut fixtures, and an adjustable rear sight, with a fixed brass bead front sight. The barrel is marked "Winchester Model 94 Cal. 44 Rem. Mag. – Made in New Haven, CT U.S.A. - Winchester Proof Steel." The Winchester 94 became one of the most famous and popular hunting rifles of all time - Designed by the renowned John Browning in 1894, and was the first rifle to chamber smokeless powder .30 WCF - otherwise known as the .30-30. The Model 1894 has been referred to as the "ultimate lever-action design" by firearms historians such as R. L. Wilson and Hal Herring. The Model 1894 is the rifle credited with the name "Winchester" being used to refer to all rifles of this type. Overall, the rifle shows very good condition, with near mint bluing on the barrel, and a stunning color cased hardened receiver. The fore grip walnut fixtures show very-good condition, as well as the buttstock and straight grip. The top of the tang features a manual safety.
