Winchester Model 1892 trapper’s model in .32-20 caliber with factory 14” barrel in near mint original condition showing 95% to 99% original bright blue and excellent original wood stocks. This trapper shows just a couple of marks from the saddle ring and a few very minor scratches, some slight handling and minimal storage. This exact carbine is described in an advertisement and letter from noted firearms expert and dealer “Bob” Everhart in 2003 “as being 99.5% mirror bright blue, wonderful wood, the best”. Mr. Everhart also elaborates on the fact these carbines were generally sent set South and never found in this high of condition. The markings are sharp, the edges are crisp and this trappers model is 100% original as it left the factory. Very possibly the best 14” trapper known in the 1892 series. Est.: $17,500-$35,000.
