Excellent. The barrel and magazine retain 95% original finish with some thinning on the barrel. The receiver retains 90% original finish with scattered speckled flaking, some thinning to brown on the underside, and the usual wear caused by the saddle ring. The lever shows 80% original finish with areas of smooth gray patina. The buttplate has a smooth brownish gray patina. The forearm barrel band has a smooth brownish patina. The wood is very fine with a couple of moderate scratches, a dark streak (1 3/4" x 1/8") on the left side of the stock and several minor dings and dents (mainly on the underside of the stock). The markings are clear and crisp. The action is excellent.
