Very fine. The barrel and magazine tube retains approximately 97% original blue finish with some minor thinning (mostly on the magazine). The lever and forend cap retain traces of blue with the balance a smooth brown patina, with a mixture of smooth brown and gray on the buttplate. The frame retains approximately 90% of the blue with some speckling of brown and some patches of gray. There are two extra non-factory screw holes present on the top left side of the frame (with filler screws). Overall there is some scattered light spotting. There is a minor gash on the buttstock (right side), otherwise the wood is excellent with some minor dings and scratches. Most of the varnish remains. Mechanically excellent.
