This is a Winchester Model 1890 22 W.R.F pump action rifle. This rifle features a 24" octagon barrel, blued steel finish, and straight walnut stock. The Model 1890 proved to be the most successful repeating rim fire rifle for general all around shooting ever made by Winchester. Approximately 849,000 Model 1890 rifles were produced between 1890 and 1932, after which the Model 1890 was replaced by the Winchester Model 62 rifle. A final cleanup of stock on hand was completed in 1941. The rifle is in good condition, with much of the bluing on the barrel intact while the receiver and magazine shows little left. The stock and forearm show good condition with slight handling wear. This rifle was manufactured in 1919 with a total of 27363 being produced that year. Curio & Relic rifle.
