Winchester Model 1885 High Wall single shot rifle, .45-70 cal., 30” #4 heavy octagon barrel, blue and case hardened finish, checkered deluxe wood stocks, single set trigger, #18168 in overall fine condition showing the majority of its blue finish on the barrel that displays the factory PW in circle mark on top flat at breech and VP in oval on bottom barrel flat under forend; majority of case colors remain on receiver; fine bore, crisp action, set trigger not working at time ofdescription, sharp markings, beautifully grained wood in very good to fine condition with a chip loss to the left front rail of the forend and minor old mars from carry and storage; checkered hard rubber butt plate.
