Winchester Model 1885 High Wall rifle in unusual and scarce 44-40 cal., 30” round barrel, blue finish, crescent butt in very good condition #111051. The rifle shows 75%-85% original blue, some minor scratches, normal aging and toning andsome minor pin prick pitting; good markings, good to very good wood with excellent wood-to-metal fit; crisp action, very good bore that is still bright; large buckhorn rear sight in original dovetail and Dockendorff cross hair type frontsight in the original front dovetail. A very nice High Wall that is unusual and collectible. Est.: $2,000-$4,000.
