Winchester Model 1876 rifle, 28” round barrel, 45-60 caliber, full magazine, rifle butt, second model with screwed down rail for dust cover, express type folding rear sight, select walnut stock (possibly 1X-2X) serial #19590. The barrel retains 50-70% original thinning and toning blue, the magazine shows 10-20% blue and the frame shows 50-70% blue where the finish has drifted, the metal is an even patina. The hammer and lever showtraces of case hardening in a mottled patina and the butt plate also shows some traces of case hardening. The wood is nicely figured with a select grain and the butt stock has been lightly cleaned but still fits well.The stocks are at least very good, markings are sharp include caliber marking on lifter. The bore is fairly shiny but shows some wear and we would rate it at good. A 7 plus on 1- 10 scale. Est.;$3,250-$6,500.
