Winchester Model 1876 lever action saddle ring carbine, .45/75 caliber, 22” round barrel, S/N 41313, nickel and blued finish, wood stocks in overall good to very good condition displaying a dark brown patina on metal surfaces with scattered areas of original nickel finish on the receiver; very good action, good markings, fair bore; missing dust cover; wood stocks show weathering and wear with scattered old mars and scratches from carry and storage; an old crack at the front right side of the fore stock and several minor age cracks to the butt stock. Original factory letter confirms half nickel finish and indicates receipt in warehouse on October 6, 1884 with shipping from the warehouse on October 24, 1884 to order number 15490.
