Winchester Model 1876 “Open Top” lever action rifle, .45-75 cal., 28” octagon barrel, British proofed, blue finish, wood stocks, left side of receiver period inscribed “LONDON ARMOURY, JA.. KERR & CO.. 54 KINGWILLIAM ST.. LONDON”, #2370. This gun is in overall excellent condition showing approx. 95% original bright blue finish remaining on the receiver and approx. 90% original blue on the barrel assembly; minty bore, crispaction and markings, fine wood stocks with some scattered mars from storage, majority of original muted case colors on the lever, hammer, trigger and butt plate; sectional cleaning rod in butt trap. An outstandingconditioned ’76 Open Top suitable for inclusion in any serious Winchester collection. Est.: $12,000-$24,000.
