Winchester Model 1873 lever action rifle in .32-20 caliber shortened to blanket size in Indian tradition, serial number 351098. The dust cover has been removed and the comb altered also the butt plate replaced with a crude sheet brass replacement affixed by with wood screw. The metal surfaces show some traces of blue and are good with even wear and good markings. The sights are slightly later than the period of manufacture and the front sight is handmade. The stock is well-worn and the butt stock is broken, repaired and refinished. The action works well and the bore is bright but the rifling is worn from use.
