special order lever action rifle with rare 30" long octagon barrel, set trigger and knife blade front sight. Rifle retains an even brown patina with traces of thin blue to underside of barrel, light scattered pin prick pitting around frame.Wood stocks show dings and dents consistent with age, with heavier wear and loss to fore stock. Original rear sight is intact with new elevator added as is front nickel silver knife blade sigh. Action and bore are good. A desirable extra long'73 in good overall condition. No FFL required.
