Winchester First Model 1876 early Open Top lever action rifle, .44 cal., 28” octagon barrel, blue finish, wood stocks, #2284. This gun is in overall good to very good condition showing a grey/brown patina onmetal surfaces with some scattered areas of erosion, a couple of old mars to the right side of the barrel halfway to the muzzle and a couple small dents to the left side of the loading tube; good bore, action and markings; set trigger working at time of description, overall good wood with some scattered scratches and mars from carry and storage; a rare variation of the Model ’76. Est.: $6,000-$12,000.
