Action Type: This rifle has a lever action with a full-length tubular magazine.
Markings: The top of the barrel is marked MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER

1894 in front of the rear sight and 32 W.S. behind, the left shoulder is marked
NICKEL STEEL BARREL - ESPECIALLY FOR SMOKELESS POWDER.
The upper tang is marked MODEL 1894 WINCHESTER TRADEMARK.
The bottom of receiver base is marked 42.
The takedown lever on the magazine cap is marked -PAT. JUNE 6.1893-.
The rear sight is original Winchester and is marked MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER

The side of the sight has SMOKLESS 50 & 100 YDS - 32 WS M94
Barrel Length: 26 inch Octagonal
Sights / Optics: The front sight is an original blade. The rear sight is a Winchester
sight dovetailed to the rear of the barrel.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are 2-piece smooth walnut with
capped forend, straight grip, straight comb and steel crescent buttplatbut does have
one crack on righthand side behind receiver.. The buttplate and nosecap have mostly
even wear showing some oxidation.
Forearm does have a chip out at edge on righthand side.
Overall, the stocks are in about Very Good-Fine condition as an Antique.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 20% of its metal finish. Strongest remaining
finish is on the barrel and on the magazine tube Overall, this rifle is in about Very
Good condition considering age.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly as it should The takedown mechanism
functions properly and closes up tight.. The hammer has a half-cock safety and the
lever safety functions properly. The lever lock-ups properly and the trigger is crisp.
A RARE collector Rifle - we do not see many Take Downs in this model.

If shipping is required for any purchase an additional charge will occur the day the item has been shipped. We ship at cost via Canada Post. We aim to have items out the door within 10 days after auction close. We are NOT responsible for damage during shipping. All items are sent by Canada Post or UPS depending on location, size of parcel and regulations. We don't guarantee delivery times and will not refund shipping charges for parcels that are not delivered by a specific date.
Items over $200 will be insured and a signature 18+ is required (unless under $200 or going by letter mail).
Ammunition will now be shipped exclusively with UPS. We must ship Ammunition and Firearms to the address on file with the CFO. Please ensure that you have a UPS delivery agent in your area prior to bidding, as UPS does not cover many rural areas. PLEASE SEE LOT 0 FOR FULL DETAILS AND TO CHECK YOUR POSTAL CODE! If shipping is required for any purchase an additional charge will occur the day the item has been shipped. A $40.00 late payer fee will be added to any invoice that can't be processed at the conclusion of the sale. Please ensure that you have provided us with the correct number and expiry date. Recurring problem payers will be banned from future sales. Bidders are responsible for full payment of all their purchases at the drop of the hammer. Our Consignors are paid based on the hammer price. We will attempt to charge your credit card partial amounts until the amount is paid in full. Any purchase which has not been fully paid will be resold at the next available opportunity. Our normal commission charge will apply on re-sale. Any balance remaining unpaid after the resale will be referred to our collection agency, and or small claims court.

KOS Auctions do not guarantee or make warranties on any lot. We acknowledge that errors may occur, however we endeavour to give you accurate information in descriptions provided. We are available by email (pocomilitary@gmail.com ) and phone (604-788-6010 ) to answer questions and provide additional photographs prior to bidding, as required. No employee of KOS Auctions is authorized to make any representation or warranty, oral or written, with respect to any lot or item for sale other than the CEO. KOS Auctions will not return or refund money if an item is not exactly in the same condition as listed in online listing. Firearm ratings in the online listing are subjective and are of visual opinion, no mechanical inspection or test firing is undertaken by KOS. Any concern must be addressed with a recognized gunsmith prior to firing any firearm.
CANADIAN BIDDERS: Firearm and Ammunition purchasers require a valid P.A.L. (Possession and Acquisition License). All restricted and prohibited firearms are registered with the Canadian Firearms Program and will be transferred to the purchaser following the completion of the sale and receipt of full payment. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to determine that they have the correct category of license for the intended purchase prior to bidding. You will require a P.A.L. for all Prohibited/Restricted/Non-Restricted category firearms. No P.A.L. is required for Antique category firearms.
Ammunition and Firearms must be shipped to an address on file with the CFO. Ammunition and Firearms cannot be shipped in the same box.
Ammunition will now be shipped exclusively with UPS. We must ship Ammunition to your address on file with the CFO. Please ensure that you have a UPS delivery agent in your area prior to bidding, as UPS does not cover all rural areas. We do not ship ammunition to the USA.
Any items that are purchased that we are not able to deliver/ or you don’t have a valid license to possess will be sold at the next opportunity, regular commission charges apply to that secondary sale.
As we are selling Firearms and Ammunition it is imperative that bidders/customers provide us their correct information. We require your full correct name as shown on your PAL, PAL number, date of birth, the mailing address that is associated with your PAL. Customers who fail to do so, or who need the paperwork restarted due to an error on their part will be charged an administrative fee of $25.00 per lot. U.S.A./INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS:
Please be advised that we cannot ship any sort of firearm, directly to USA or International buyers. Buyers must use a third-party exporter for these items.
We cannot ship receivers, ammunition/primers/primed brass, air guns or grenades to USA or International buyers. These cannot be shipped by us or an exporter. Do not bid on these items.
All USA and International bidders will receive an email that requests bidder to agree to the USA and International bidder terms and conditions. Accounts will not be approved until the bidder has responded that they have read, understand and accept these terms. You have sole responsibility for your purchases. You and or your importing FFL will be required to file paperwork with BATF in order to be able to import an item. Please check with your FFL and/or BATF regarding import of specific items. Not all firearms are able to be imported/exported into the USA. Note that any items that have been purchased but are deemed not importable/exportable will be sold at the next opportunity. Regular commission charges apply to that secondary sale.
You have sole responsibility for your purchases. Please check with your governing body and Borderview to ensure your intended purchase is importable, as well as the third party exporter to ensure they will be able to export to your country, this should be done prior to bidding. Not all firearms are able to be imported/exported Internationally. Note that any items that have been purchased but are deemed “not importable/exportable” will be sold at the next opportunity. Regular commission charges apply to that secondary sale.
If you are unable to complete the transaction within 6 months, the lots will be sold at the next auction. You will be charged regular commission on the resale.

All sales are final and not subject to conditions. All merchandise is sold 'As Is' without recourse to the vendor. KOS Auctions nor the Consignor makes any representation or warranty, express or implied, as to the title, merchant ability, fitness or condition of the property or as to the correctness of description, genuineness, attribution, provenance or period of the property or as to whether the purchaser acquires any copyrights or other intellectual property rights in lots sold or as to whether a work of art is subject to the artist's moral rights or other residual rights of the artist. All Firearms and Ammunition are sold as Collector lots only. Fitness to fire or otherwise discharge the Firearm or Ammunition is expressly denied by KOS Auctions. A competent Gunsmith should be consulted before attempting to use or fire any Firearm or Ammunition. The Purchaser expressly acknowledges and agrees that in no event shall KOS Auctions or its associated companies be liable for any damages including without limitation any compensatory, incidental or consequential damages.
The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging. If we sell firearms that have been previously de-activated by others, these may not meet current or exportable standards. Firearms de-activated by others may or may not have a de-activation letter available. We are not able to search for letters for firearms de-activated by others.
