SN: 150GS19091 Lever action rifle in 44-40 Winchester commemorating the 150th Anniversary of the completion of the Trans-Continental Railway and the driving of the "Golden Spike" at Promontory Summit, Utah. Manufactured by Miroku in Japan and imported by BACO Inc, Morgan UT. Features an approx 24" octagonal barrel, adjustable sights with flip-up elevation ladder rear and brushed nickel colored front blade, tube magazine under barrel, lever lock, two piece walnut stock, curved brass buttplate, brass colored forend cap. Receiver is brass colored, engraved on both sides with elegant scrollwork borders that frame the following: a map of the state of Utah indicating the location of the Golden Spike site, Great Salt Lake, and Salt Lake City, next to the statement "10 Miles of Track, Laid in One Day" in larger script on the left side; a shield type emblem including the image of a beehive, dates "Sept 9th", "1850", & "UTAH" on the right side next to "Golden Spike 150th Anniversary" and "Model 1866" in larger script. Engraving is black color filled for high contrast visibility. Right side of barrel bears gold colored script: "Golden Spike 150th Anniversary May 10th 1869 - 2019". Right side of butt has an inlaid bronze colored coin featuring an embossed image of the famous photograph of workers and locomotives from the two competing companies meeting at the point of completion. Bore is excellent. Overall condition is like new. Walnut selected for this rifle is highly figured with swirls and feathering. Magazine tube bears "Winchester" display sticker. Includes original factory cardboard shipping box with cable lock, manual, and certificate of authenticity. Condition is Perfect - Like New ***Modern Firearm***
