Wincehster model 1892 special order lever-action rifle, .25-20 caliber, 24” half round half octagon barrel, half magazine, takedown frame, checkered pistol grip stock, hard-rubber shotgun buttplate, Winchester grip cap, Lyman tang sight, Lyman folding rear sight, and Lyman Beech type front sight. The barrel shows 90-95% original blue, just some slight toning, slight losses at the edges, minor pinprick pitting just starting. The magazine tube, takedown lever, forend cap show 80-90% thinning blue. The takedown collar shows 75% blue, the frame shows traces of blue with some light cleaning and drifting to patina, and some minor pinprick pitting and ersion. The stocks are very good plus with good checkering, normal wear and aging, and about 50-70% varnish. Excellent wood to metal fit, strong traces of case hardening on hammer and lever. The hard-rubber Winchester buttplate is in near fine condition. The action is tight, the bore near excellent. Serial #535506. A good 92 with a lot of special features. Est: $3,500 - $4,500

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
