Property being sold is not new! Dents, dings, scratches and other damage may be present—and is common—on used and vintage items. Items are available for preview well in advance of the auction and we take several pictures as well. Please inspect thoroughly PRIOR to bidding. Once auctioneer says “SOLD” Buyer assumes all responsibility for items.
For sale in this lot is a Winchester model 1894 carbine with a 16 inch barrel in .30/30 caliber. It was made in 1965 and remains in good condition, showing nominal signs of use. The blued finish is in good condition, showing some minor pitting on the receiver. The fore end and stock are in nice condition as well, showing very few dings or scratches. This rifle seems fully functional, however we have not fired it. Based on a John Browning design, the model 1894 was the first Winchester developed for smokeless powder cartridges. It was the most successful Winchester rifle ever produced and was in production until the year 2005. MAKER: Winchester. Serial No. on frame is 2944725. APPROX AGE: Circa 1965. SIZE: Barrel length is 16 inches. CONDITION: Good for its age, normal wear expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition. SHIPPING: There will be a $25 handling / packaging fee for shipping this lot. The actual cost of postage will be added on top of that. BUY IT NOW: If you would like to buy this item now, without waiting for the auction day to bid on it, we do offer this option (which is available up to 48 hours before the actual auction starts).
