Willie Weast Spurs & Child's Boots. Child's spurs and boots made by Willie Weast for his grandson, Donald, to wear with his cowboy boots. Marked on the side of each spur, "Donald Weast. Made by W. N. Weast. Silverton, Tex." Weast studied with J. O. Bass and marked his spurs in a very similar way as Bass. These great spurs are 4 ½” long overall, with 1 ½” shanks holding 5-point rowels; swinging strap buttons with octagonal silver mounted buttons. The bands are overlaid in silver with punch design. Circa 1950s. The spurs are mounted on Donald's child's cowboy boots. Comes with a notarized letter from Donald about his grandfather and the spurs, as well as an original black and white photo of a very young Donald and Willie.
