Active circa 1870-1900, William was the successor to Deringer copyist John Wurfflein, and introduced the Parlor Gun to the firm's product line; a small caliber indoor target pistol which combined the lines of a Deringer-style stock with the provision for a shoulder stock. Blade and notch sights on the barrel, with "WURFFLEIN/PHILA" on the back action lock and zig-zag accents on the sides of the spur trigger housing. Fine stock, with a drift pin securing the barrel, a checkered bird's head butt, and a hole in the back for a wire stock (not included).

Condition: Fine, with 85% of the original nickel finish, showing mild flaking and edge wear, and a fine aged patina on the exposed brass. Some clamp marks are present on the barrel. Stock is very good, with mild dents. Half-cock notch is absent, otherwise pistol is mechanically good.
