William Taft typed letter signed on his personal stationery, dated 30 April 1913, from New Haven, Connecticut, where he was teaching law at Yale. Taft's letter to ''Mr. Edward Bok, 'Ladies Home Journal' / Philadelphia, Pennsylvania'' confirms ''a Saturday evening for the lecture to which you refer''. Letter reads in part, ''...You can, therefore, put it down for Saturday, November 15th...'' He signs in black ink: ''Wm. H. Taft''. Single page card style letter, measuring 7'' x 9.25'', shows minor soiling, else very good.
