Taft's letter to Edward Bok, ''Ladies Home Journal'' editor, accepts an invitation to speak ''...It will give me great pleasure to deliver the lecture you suggest on 'The Lawyer of Ideals'...The subject is a good one and is of much importance just at present...'' Strong black ink signature reads: ''Wm. H. Taft''. Single page card style letter, measuring 7'' x 9.25'', has a pencil notation, else near fine.
