Dated 26 January 1916, Taft invites Edward Bok, the creator of the American Peace Award, to become a member of a special Committee to help ''...lay the foundation for...the establishment of the proposed league of nations in an International Conference...[signed] Wm H Taft''. 2pp. 8'' x 10.5'' letter on two separate sheets, ideal for framing.
