William Snow I, Otley (early 18th century) AN EARLY 18TH-CENTURY OAK-CASED SINGLE-HANDED 30-HOUR LONG-CASE CLOCK, the hood having a shaped surmount (lacking finials), the square glazed door between turned columns with brass capitals, the trunk with plain door on a plain base and bracket feet, the movement having a silvered dial with Roman chapter ring inscribed "Will Snow 584", the centre chased with foliage and having a crescent form date aperture, the brass backplate having spandrels cast with human masks amidst foliage, 206cm, (81in) high (sold with weight and pendulum) Est.£1700/2000
