Signed book: A Lighter of Flames. First edition, limited issue of 1000. NY: Thomas Y. Crowell Company, 1928. Hardcover, 5.75 x 8, 246 pages. Signed on the colophon in black ink, “William S. Hart.” Light overall toning, a slightly cocked spine, and an original pencil ownership signature to the front free end page, otherwise fine condition. The original owner of the book was Rufus C. Holman Republican State Treasurer of Oregon from 1931-1938, and a one-term US Senator from Oregon from 1938-1945.
