Lot of 4 original letters and photos relating to the American silent film star, William S. Hart.
a) Two page, handwritten and signed letter on William S. Hart stationary, referencing Buck Jones’ biography, and signed, “Sincerely yours, Bill Hart”. Framed with two photographs, one of Hart and one of Jones. Overall frame size is 24 3/4" x 34".
b) 2 photographs displayed together: an autographed photo of William Hart, signed boldly in ink "Yours truly William S. Hart"; and a photograph of Hart standing behind a train (the Los Angeles Limited). Along with a couple of cowboys on what appears to be a movie set, he is inspecting a Colt Lightning. Framed to 28" x 19"
c) Publicity Photograph of Hart with guns drawn, a Colt Single Action and Colt Double Action. 13" x 10", framed to 15" x 12", inscribed in ink "For my friend / Kelly Anthony / From Bill Hart", Photographer's mark lower right WF Seely.
d) Studio Photograph of Hart by Hartsook, L.A. framed together with a poem titled "A Range Rider of the Yellowstone". Framed to 12 1/4" x 14 1/4".
