Forty-one page typed article, 8 x 10.5, for the Cyclopedia of American Biography, with several handwritten pencil notations and corrections in McKinley’s hand. Accompanied by the original Executive Mansion mailing envelope, postmarked December 30, 1899, with a handwritten notation by editor James Grant Wilson, which reads, “Additions to the C.A.B. McKinley article by the President.” In very good condition, with punch hole to top left and scattered soiling.
