<B>William McKinley Autograph Document Signed</B></I> “<I>Wm McKinley Jr</B></I>”. One page, 7.75” x 7.5”, Stark County Canton , Ohio, February 27, 1871, in ink. Before William McKinley (1843-1901) realized his greatest political aspirations he served as prosecuting attorney for Stark County, Ohio from 1869-71. This document dates from that period of McKinley's career. It is a simple legal document, written in McKinley's hand, which probably accompanied a sworn deposition. The document is notarized below McKinley's signature. The document bears the usual endorsements on the reverse. There is some light soiling, a few chips at the margin folds, the usual fold creases, else it is in very good condition. <I>From the collection of Henry E.
