Original 1892 lithograph titled September and October from American artist William Lathrop (1859-1938), a key figure in the New Hope School of Pennsylvania Impressionism. This richly colored farm scene features a detailed depiction of rural life during harvest season, with a steam-powered thresher and agricultural workers amid haystacks, framed by vignettes of pastoral life. The print is mounted and matted, with "Wm. L. Lathrop" printed in the lower margin and additional notes on the verso confirming its origin. This rare lithograph is in excellent condition and is a notable example of Lathrop's early graphic work before his transition to painting
