Housed in a custom clamshell case with five raised bands and gilt title. <BR>McCalla was a controversial Presbyterian clergyman who traveled by sea to Galveston and thence to Houston, Austin, San Antonio and Goliad. The first sixty pages are devoted to an account of this journey and give valuable insight into his character and religious beliefs.
