<B>William IV silver Proof Halfcrown, 1831.</B></I> S-3834A. Block "WW" on truncation. Plain edge. Choice Proof, heavy cameo contrast on the portrait, moderate contrast on the shield. Quite a lot of very fine hairlines in the fields but this is still, to the cataloguer's eye, a choice coin--far nicer than most seen over many years. It has a white opalescent look, very similar to the 1836 MS63 NGC coin in this sale--which might make a nice companion.
