<B>William Howard Taft Typed Letter Signed as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court</B></I> “<I>Wm H Taft</B></I>”. One page, 8” x 10.5”, on Supreme Court of the United States letterhead, Pointe-au-Pic, Canada, August 12, 1926, to George E. Thompson, New Haven, Connecticut. Taft writes: “I have yours of August 9th, in which you offer to me, for $10, a set of “Officers and Students of Yale College” for the four years covering the period from 1829 to 1833.
