Christmas card bearing a pine cone design on the front, 4.5 x 3.5, signed inside in black ink, “The going is a little bit ‘groggy’ right now, but am kicking along fairly well, Mustang Jack, Dec. 25, 1939.” Opposite page bears a printed greeting from Jackson. In fine condition. Some slight surface loss to borders, otherwise fine condition. After the Civil War, Jackson became a herd driver in the West, where he earned the nickname ‘Mustang Jack.’
