Scarce Office of Discount and Deposit check, 7 x 2, filled out and signed by Harrison, “W. H. Harrison,” payable to Self for $5.00, January 24, 1827. In very good condition, with small vertical tear through a single letter of signature, a couple other small tears and holes, cancellation cut to top left, light red pencil cancellation, and a uniform shade of toning. Presidents’ checks are highly collectible and Harrison is noticeably scarce, making this example from a term in the US Senate very desirable.
